The first journal devoted to materials and technologies for the generation, processing, and display of information in three dimensions, 3D Research (3DR) provides an international forum that spans disciplines and applications areas. The journal publishes original research papers under the category 3DR Express. 3DR Commentaries – some commissioned by the Editorial Board, others chosen from unsolicited submissions – are invited personal viewpoints and perspectives addressing topics of general interest to the 3D community and highlighting new areas of science. 3DR Reviews focus on the summarization of currently well-established theoretical and experimental results.
