Journal of Molecular Medicine
Description
The Journal of Molecular Medicine (J Mol Med) is the continuation of the prestigious, traditional journal for clinical medicine, the Klinische Wochenschrift (founded in 1864). J Mol Med has established an international reputation as the publication organ of excellent scientific work in the areas of molecular and translational medicine. Molecular medicine relies on interdisciplinary approaches that are a prerequisite for a better understanding of molecular mechanisms of disease and translate into better approaches to prevention, diagnosis, and therapy. As a high-impact, broad-based molecular medicine journal, J Mol Med publishes articles from the steadily growing area of research at the interface between basic science and clinical research. J Mol Med covers all aspects of human biology and pathophysiology. The emphasis is on the unprecedented progress and precision now possible in the understanding, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of human diseases. The employment of molecular biology and gene technology has enhanced the understanding of human diseases and has created a new branch of research known as ''molecular medicine''. The journal publishes original papers, review articles and correspondence of the highest quality pertinent to all aspects of human biology and pathophysiology.
