Synthesis of highly selective filters with the minimal quality of the poles

Abstract

Filters with the minimally possible quality of the poles are considered in this paper. The possibility for the increase of the selectivity of these filters through forming a numerator of a transfer function of a special type is shown. An algorithm used when calculating transfer functions by means of optimization functions of the MATLAB package is demonstrated. Plots of gain-frequency characteristics of the synthesized filters are shown.
