Abstract
Centroid vectors have been used as translations to shift the origin in vector sets belonging to pre-Hilbert spaces. Such origin shifts have been determinant for developing quantum and classical QSPR algorithms in molecular spaces. Here the role of the centroid vector in vector sets is analyzed in order to acquire more understanding about his nature and characteristics.
