Production of ethanol from extruded corn starch by a nonconvencional fermentation method

Summary

In single-step 48-hour fermentations of extruded, liquefied and raw corn starch, the yields of ethanol from extruded starch were similar to those from liquefied starch, whereas the yields of ethanol from raw starch were lower.
