Abstract
Thyroid eye disease (TED) is an autoimmune disease that often leads to facial disfigurement. Graves’ Upper Eyelid Retraction (GUER) is one of the most common sign in TED, and has functional as well as cosmetic implications [1, 2]. Surgical correction remains the mainstay for the treatment of eyelid retraction, and shall be separately covered in Chap. 15. However, during the active phase of the disease, a temporary modality for correction is desirable.
