Abstract
Topology is a critical branch of mathematics. In topology, we focus on the invariance of change and ignore some details. The selection of the optimal surgical strategy is influenced by many variables, such as aneurysm morphology, size, vascular architecture, and even the surgeon’s preference. However, from the perspective of topology, with the “topological neck” enclosing the inflow and/or outflow tract(s) on one side of the aneurysm, different aneurysms may be topologically equivalent in nature, regardless of the abovementioned variables.
