Abstract

The colossus transportation passage of Yangtze River runs 6,300 km, crossing the three major regions of the east, the middle and the west, connecting hundreds of cities of different scales, covering a massive range of land. Unique natural conditions make it the largest in scale, and the busiest transportation waterway. Recent years have witnessed world-admiring achievements, its facility construction in navigation channel and ports being continuously perfected, transportation service and management of security issues incessantly improved.
