Therapeutics of Digestive Endoscopic Tunnel Technique

Abstract

The concept of G-POEM is to treat gastric emptying disorders by cutting the pyloric sphincter muscle (pyloric myotomy). That can be safely done through creating a submucosal tunnel in the antrum towards the pyloric ring. This chapter introduces the indications and contraindications, procedures and efficacy of G-POEM.
