Abstract
Newfoundland and Labrador has seen its fair share of economic prosperity over the past 50 years. Large projects such as Churchill Falls, Hibernia, Terra Nova, and the Voisey’s Bay Mine have brought millions of dollars to the local economies of Newfoundland and Labrador. These projects have also allowed many families to earn good livings and enjoy the finer things of life.
