Abstract

Melanoma on genitalia is a rare but frequently fatal form of melanoma. The histological features are occasionally deceitful and such lesions are frequently confused with benign lesions, especially in their early stage. Although histologically closely related, vulvar melanoma and melanoma on male genitalia will be treated separately because of their peculiar clinical characteristics.
