Abstract

Malignant fibrous histiocytomas are commonly observed in the subcutaneous tissue of rats, and may be occasionally seen or induced in the periosteum, muscles, retroperitoneum, mediastinum, thoracic or abdominal cavity, orbit or cranial cavity, or bone.
