Abstract

Constitutional disorders of skeletal development are inborn (primary) errors of skeletal growth and/or differentiation. They lead to abnormalities of skeletal form or structure called anomalies or malformations. Dwarfism is a major clinical manifestation of primary errors of skeletal development.
