Multislice CT: A Practical Guide

Abstract

In order to determine the potential benefit of a new approach in cardiac imaging, it is important to define what we need to know, and how we can achieve this goal. There are two basic ways to look at the heart, a static and a dynamic one. With static visualization, morphological information can be obtained. Dynamic imaging also permits functional evaluation.
