Abstract
In this article the model of retarded equivalent current sources for multiconductor transmission lines is extended to take incident field coupling of plane waves into account. The functions describing the transmission line effects and the effects of the incident field on to the transmission line are approximated in Laplace domain by Padé approximation and therafter analytically transformed back in time domain employing standard correspondences. The transient simulation is performed then in time domain utilizing a fast semianalytic recursive convolution approach which allows an accurate solution of the convolution integral.
