Abstract

In recent years, many techniques and algorithms have been developed to detect small and slow targets in Radar systems, but anyhow quantitative measures to evaluate the performance and the optimization of algorithm parameters is very hard to provide. Therefore a flexible and reliable Radar Simulator has been implemented in Matlab OOP, to provide datasets which will be used to relax these problems. The main feature of the proposed simulator is that it combines real clutter data with artificial target trajectories.
