Prostate Cancer Survivorship

Abstract

Patients had lower ability to work due to cancer and more side effects after treatment (Taskila 2007). Yet this is unaddressed. In addition more support at work is also required (Mols 2007) to help patients get through the survivorship phase. However, to support patients, a telephone based approach can successfully enhance coping (Campbell 2006). This demonstrates a region where care is lacking, but no solutions have been applied.
