Abstract

Tenant experience in a smart business building is shaped both by the technical solutions available in the building and by human stakeholders at different touch points in the building context. We have been applying design-thinking approach to study what kinds of experiences should smart business buildings provide to the users, especially to the tenants of the building. We conclude our findings as user experience vision and nine user experience goals for the tenants of smart business buildings. Furthermore, we analyse how the current stakeholders of the building contribute to each targeted experience, and suggest how cognitive systems could enhance those experiences.
