Abstract

The lack of transparency is one of the problems affecting public tendering processes. In this paper, we will study some of the solutions based on blockchain technology and smart contracts on this topic. The conclusions are that the application of blockchain technology to public bidding processes is feasible, although it is also necessary to take into account the legislation of each country to which it will be applied.
