Anterior Plating of the SI Joint

  • Chapter
  • First Online:
Pelvic Ring Fractures

Abstract

Complete disruption of the SI joint can be stabilized by open reduction, internal fixation, and anterior plate osteosynthesis. The indication, the step-by-step technique of anterior plating with clinical and radiological results is presented.
