Abstract

Over the last years a coherent picture of elementary  particles has emerged. Since the development of the atomic model, improvements in experimental resolution have allowed scientists to investigate smaller and smaller structures.

Most basic ideas of science are essentially simple and can

usually be expressed in a language that everyone understands.
