Abstract
Solid tissue cultures were prepared by Dr. Francis H. Fay and Mr. D. Ritter, Fairbanks, Alaska, USA, from biopsies collected by Mr. J. J. Burns, Alaska Department Fish and Game, from specimens captured in the Chukchi Sea. The metaphases were kindly supplied by Dr. Ulfur Arnason, Lund, Sweden. The Y chromosome is the smallest element and may have minute short arms. The satellited marker chromosomes are #10 in these karyotypes.
