Abstract

These karyotypes were kindly supplied by Dr. U. Wolf, University of Freiburg, Germany, and were made from animals caught in that vicinity. A different type of sex determining mechanism (X1X2Y1Y2/X1X1X2X2) has been suggested by Raicu et al.
