Abstract
Conveys the sense of olfaction from receptors in the nasal mucosa via nerve fibers which pass through the cribriform plate of the ethmoid bone. Relayed by cells in the olfactory bulb and back to the medial and lateral olfactory cortices in the olfactory tract.
