Acupuncture and insomnia: A report of 86 cases

摘要

目的

观察针刺治疗失眠症的临床疗效。

方法

86 例失眠症患者, 采用针刺为主治疗。 每日1 次, 5天为1疗程, 疗程间休息2d, 4个疗程后统计疗效, 并用匹兹堡睡眠质量指数(Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, PSQI)观察治疗前后的总积分。

结果

总有效率为95.4%, PSQI总积分治疗前后比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。

结论

针刺治疗失眠症疗效确切, 方法安全, 可改善患者的生活质量和身体功能。

Abstract

Objective

To observe the treatment effect of acupuncture on insomnia.

Method

All 86 insomnia cases were treated with acupuncture once a day; 5 d make up one course of treatment. There was a 2-day interval between the two courses. After 4 courses of treatment, the therapeutic effect was analyzed, coupled with the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) global scores before and after the treatment.

Result

The total effective rate was 95.4% and there was a significant difference in PSQI global scores before and after the treatment.

Conclusion

Acupuncture is a safe and effective therapy for insomnia. It can improve the patient’s quality of life and physical function.
