Abstract

The quaternionic equation ax + xb = c is studied in Section 3 of [2]. Unfortunately there is an error in Theorem 1 which states the main results (page 420). Here a correct theorem is stated. It is followed by a complete proof based on an alternative argument. And more information is given.
