Summary

Vertigo can present significant diagnostic and management challenges. In the past decade, less invasive means of achieving relief from vertigo have been established. Many treatment options carry some degree of controversy. With vertigo, as in all areas of medicine, clinicians must constantly reevaluate the efficacy of their treatment algorithms.
