Summary
1. A case report of a patient with gastric hypersecretion, islet cell adenomata of the pancreas, and multiple endocrinopathies (Zollinger-Ellison syndrome) is presented.
2. The gastric juice proteins from this patient were fractionated by starch zone electrophoresis and were found to form a pattern similar to that found with normal human gastric juice.
3. The quantitative protein content of the patient's gastric juice was found to be within normal limits.
