Vapor phase alkylation of aniline using ethanol over alkali and alkaline-earth exchanged zeolites-Y

Abstract

Ethylation of aniline has been investigated over various alkali and alkaline earth metal exchanged zeolites-Y. The basic zeolites-Y were found to have higher activity than acidic zeolites-Y for N-alkylation.
