In this chapter,I study the organizational behavior of embedded lead users. Anecdotal evidence (Chouinard 2005; Levitt 2009) and findings from the previous chapters indicate that embedded lead users abound in firms across different industries. Yet there exists hardly any quantitative evidence on this phenomenon.
