Abstract

Adenocarcinoma, either primary or metastatic, is an uncommon malignancy of the vulva. The most common primary is adenocarcinoma of Bartholin’s gland origin. The other possible primaries are: (a) sweat and sebaceous glands, (b) paraurethral glands, (c) Minor vestibular glands, (d) ectopic tissues in the vulva (breasts, endometriosis, misplaced cloacal tissue) and (e) embryonic rests, Gartner’s duct remnants.
