Abstract

Cheilitis angularis is an acute or chronic inflammation of the angles of the mouth.

Etiology. Cheilitis angularis is a polyetiological clinical syndrome [1]. Several factors may be causative, alone or in combination;Staphylococcus aureusand Candida albicansare frequently found as infective agents [3].
