Abstract
Remember the reasons for IAF stated in Chap. 1? The IT landscape became more and more complex, and we needed tools to manage that complexity. Architecture was the term that was coined to describe the activities that we were executing to manage the complexity. The ones who actually perform these activities are the architects.
