Résumé

Une revue de la littérature1 a montré que les patients et le public soutiennent la révélation et que les médecins disent partager ce point de vue. Mais les études s’appuyant sur les rapports spontanés de médecins et d’étudiants suggèrent que le dévoilement n’a pas souvent lieu et il n’a pas été trouvé de preuve empirique suffisante pour soutenir l’intérêt de la révélation.
