Résumé

L’échographie pulmonaire était supposée d’intérêt limité. Nous avons vu au chapitre précédent que l’épanchement pleural, bien qu’une application familière, pouvait bénéficier d’une sémiologie plus universelle menant à une approche standardisée. Nous allons maintenant plus au coeur de la matière, au poumon lui-même. Pratiquement toute souffrance donne un aspect caractéristique (consolidation pulmonaire, atélectasie, syndrome interstitiel, abcès, pneumothorax, même embolie pulmonaire)... Nous allons introduire le poumon en douceur par une application se référant à une image réelle: la consolidation pulmonaire.
