Abstrait

Dans les cystites aiguës simples, l’examen cytobactériologique des urines n’est pas nécessaire et le traitement antibiotique court est justifié (monodose ou 3 jours). La confirmation biologique de la guérison n’est pas utile. Dans les cystites compliquées, l’examen cytobactériologique avec antibiogramme est recommandé avant la mise en route du traitement antibiotique probabiliste. La guérison biologique est affirmée par un examen cytobactériologique un mois après l’arrêt du traitement. Le bon usage des antibiotiques évite la progression des résistances bactériennes (1).
