Abstrait

La chirurgie est l’unique moyen de guérir les tumeurs endocrines (TE) lorsqu’elles sont diagnostiquées à un stade localisé. Elle a également une place de plus en plus importante dans les formes métastatiques, principalement hépatiques. Elle s’intègre dans une démarche globale et doit donc être systématiquement discutée en commission multidisciplinaire comprenant des spécialistes de ces tumeurs particulières. L’anesthésiste est également un partenaire obligatoire. Le plus souvent, il s’agit d’une chirurgie réalisée à visée curative ou, du moins avec l’objectif de réséquer la totalité de la maladie macroscopique tumorale décelable en préopératoire. Plus rarement, il s’agit d’une chirurgie incomplète réalisée à des fins de contrôle symptomatique.
