Abstract

If bioethics and law are to collaborate more effectively in the future, each will need a solid understanding of how and why bioethics is used—or not used—in law. By analyzing, on a caseby- case basis, the interactions in which bioethics has come to law during the last decade, this book illustrates a line of interdisciplinary inquiry intended to advance that understanding.
