Abstract

This chapter is neither a condemnation nor a recommendation. It has been included to provide those with an interest in treating rheumatic patients with some background information about remedies other than orthodox therapies about which patients so often seek advice. Many doctors feel that they are too unversed in this field to answer these questions satisfactorily, and it is hoped that the following account will to some extent fill this gap.
