When a woman patient reports that symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, cognitive problems, vulvar and vaginal discomfort, and poor quality sleep are severe enough that they interfere with her quality of life. Often, the symptoms that most interfere are hot flushes and interrupted sleep, and cognitive issues.
