Abstract

Dietary fibre (DF), an index mainly for plant cell wall materials, has recently received considerable attention with regard to its effect on protein digestion and utilisation. Not only has the number of studies and publications in the area increased exponentially but so has the number of high fibre food products available for the consumers.
