Abstract
The autonomous mobile robot is very interesting and exciting research subject, both as a basic technology of machine intelligence and as the application in various field. We have been researching on the autonomous mobile robots for twenty years. We have been developing autonomous mobile robot platforms “Yamabico” and have researched on the autonomous robot technology using this platform as a tool of the research.
