Abstract

Since the inception of the original application blocks that Microsoft released over a period of several years beginning in 2002, many changes have taken place. These changes have made Microsoft’s current Enterprise Library one of the best practices and patterns offerings yet. It contains the industry’s best and standard practices, and the Microsoft patterns & practices group has been taking direct community feedback on the overall design of the components within the Enterprise Library.
