    Derek Brown is an associate professor at Washington University in St. Louis and is a founding member of the International Academy of Health Preference Research. His research focuses on public health and social policy applications of discrete choice experiments (DCEs) and health-related quality of life (HRQOL). Topic areas in which I have worked include: vaccines, HIV testing, colorectal cancer screening, genetic screening, child maltreatment, long-term care insurance, newborn screening, HRQOL valuation, physical activity programs, and clinical trials participation. I have conducted DCEs in the US, China, and Tanzania.
