As the voice of the World Archaeological Congress, Archaeologies has a special interest in engagements with Indigenous communities across the globe. This collection will publish articles relating to any aspect of archaeologists’ relationships with Indigenous communities and the manner in which Indigenous peoples can lay claim to their distinctive pasts. The collection is happy to consider contributions from professional or academic archaeologists, from Indigenous peoples and groups, or from collaborations between archaeologists and Indigenous groups.
