  • Claudiana Lameu

    Claudiana Lameu is a professor at the Dept of Biochemistry, Inst. of Chemistry, University of São Paulo. She holds a degree in Pharmacy and a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of São Paulo. She is a Head of the Laboratory of Studies of Molecular Mechanism of Metastasis where she works in the Development of New Molecules of Biotechnological and Pharmaceutical Interest and in the Study of Molecular and Biochemical Mechanisms of chronic diseases associated or not with cancer, focusing on the purinergic, nitrergic and kininergic system. She is general secretary of the scientific society, Brazilian Purine Club.

  • Henning Ulrich

    Henning Ulrich studied biology at the University of Hamburg and Kiel, Germany. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Neuroscience of the University of Hamburg. He completed his training by postdoctoral research at the Center of Molecular Neurobiology at the University of Hamburg, Cornell University and the Institute of Chemistry at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. He is Full Professor and Head of the Laboratory of Neuroscience at Institute of Chemistry of the University of São Paulo. He is a pioneer in the investigation of purinergic signaling in neurogenesis and neurodegeneration and a founding member of the Brazilian Purine Club.

  • Carla Inês Tasca

    Carla Inês Tasca holds a degree in Biological Sciences, and a Master and a PhD in Biological Sciences: Biochemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Professor at the Department of Biochemistry at the Federal University of Santa Catarina since 2018. Master's and Doctoral advisor at graduate programs of Biochemistry and Neurosciences. She is working mainly on the following topics: cross-talk between purinergic and glutamatergic transmission, cellular signaling mechanisms of neuroprotection/toxicity and neurodegeneration of the Central Nervous System. She is Vice-President of the Brazilian Purine Club.
