Business as usual

What’s Next?

Abstract

After leaving the primary career there may be a desire to “go plural” and remain closely involved in the corporate process. The specific activity of non- executive board work – both for– profit and not– for– profit is discussed in this chapter in an interview with Jeff Yusi,1 a CEO in telecommunications, and Elisabeth Brenner–Salz an economist and urban planner. The cultural and structural differences of different board activities are discussed and compared.

It’s not a question of dividing up your life between work, family and pleasure, instead you fuse them.

Elisabeth Brenner-Salz
