Abstract
This research study analyzes the online reaction in relation to the popular street demonstrations that took place in different parts of the Muslim world as a protest against the perceived insults against Islam and Prophet Muhammed. The main focus is on the online reaction toward these issues, which give a complementary view to what actually happened on the ground. The work is based on a quantitative and qualitative analysis since it analyzes thousands of clips and the accompanying comments associated with these controversial issues.
