Abstract
In this chapter we present and discuss experimental results obtained from magnetic materials. First, we treat elastic and inelastic electron scattering from crystals and amorphous metals (Sect. 5.1). In Sect. 5.2 electron emission spectroscopies are presented, by means of which the exchange-split electronic structure of ferro-magnets is investigated in detail. The unoccupied part of the electronic system can be studied by spin-polarized isochromat spectroscopy, which is presented in Sect. 5.3.
