Abstract
This paper presents the basic ideas underlying the design and the implementation of an integrated toolset for the analysis of the performance and testing coverage of parallel applications, based on monitoring. Some components of the toolset are being developed within the ESPRIT Project 6942 PEPS (Performance Evaluation of Parallel Systems). The paper presents the PEPS toolset and the extensions we are currently implementing.
